    M818 vs M931A1 head to head

    Excellnt review... I was looking for something just this. When you said you was running 70 in that thing i was a little up set that i didn't go with one of those instead of the 818. It looks like I will be getting bigger tires and a turbo and it dont look like there is any way around it.

    Glad you made it back safe! That's a great looking truck! I might have to get one of those. The sound of 70 mph sounds good compare to the ole 55 of the 818. Do those have an air ride cab?

    i have found some combat wheels for 125 each and didn't know if that was a reasonable price. also dont know much about combat wheels. I have recentered Hemtt wheels on my deuce and they are pretty simple. Are the combat wheels the same? also are the combat wheels for tubless tires?

    I brought mine back from camp Shelby to Kentucky 600 miles at 55 and the tach said 2200... Do you think I hurt it any? Also can they not be run any higher or just not recommended

    Good looking truck and trailer!!! I think mine will need a turbo and some bigger tires. It will only turn 2200 rpms. Not sure if they can go any higher or if it's safe for them to.

    The 818 bobtail is a wild ride! One I will not forget anytime soon. Hope your trip is as much fun and as safe as my trip. Not sure if you will be going through Kentucky or not but if you have any trouble let me know. Got the new truck and can't wait to use it!

    I was goin to get it hauled back but it would be end of next week before It would get here and I got ahold of a guy from camp Shelby chief Cwright and he said the truck would make the 600 mile trip no problem. I've got that socket already but I just didn't know it was that size. .

    driving without doors?

    Ive had the doors off up here in kentucky since the first of june and i will probably keep them off till late fall or until its starts cooling up. It feels awsome especially setting that high off the ground
