Agreed, 45 mph is best safe speed, plus you're dealing with a bucket out front. Driving that distance would be like taking the 8 second rodeo buck out, and making it last 2 days

Rookie Mistake ---I had removed the rubber air intake hoses to work on the rat chew wiring, with slow but positive success......until today. Sleep deprivation does not allow for this fella to be on his A game. Spliced a few wires and hit the starter button to see if it finally works, engine...
Good day today, not only got the SEE running again, but managed to fix some rat chew wiring in hidden locations. I now have lights! So what if I left an ounce of blood under the hood, dealing with those hard to reach places
Drained the fuel tank,and as suspected there's a good 2 inches of black gritty sludge on the bottom, and caked around the filter screen. I'm not going to even attempt to filter the fuel for re-use (I now have 25 gallons of poison ivy killer). Time to break out the Tidy Bowl for fuel tanks
The sum of all fears report. I mistakenly determined the SEE here at the house had lost it's prime and a new primer and filters would get her running again. I removed the primer off the pump and pump looked full of sludge. WTH! Then removed the small fuel filter housing and........ no filter...
Flu Farm, I know you have been seriously considering painting your SEE once you have the snowblower attachment installed. Something like this might work for what we might call, the Actual Midwest Tradition. You would have the only snow camo SEE in town [thumbzup]
