    Couldn’t agree more. 450 is steep. Xfmr or exciter chassis Salvage /carcass would seem tenable. Any salvage opportunities between Houston and Dallas? That transformer is a boat anchor. Thanks!

    T2 failure. H1, H2 open primary. Center tapped secondaries, X1, X2, X3 are conductive. 72-2609=5950-00-600-0840. Any ideas? Is rewinding the primary winding practical? What Gauge wire...How many turns? The plastic is OK. The tabs are OK. But the carbon smell is present. Salvage availability...
