The circuit breaker is on the engine side of the firewall, above the column. I think it gets circuits 10 and 25.
That CAD diagram is really better than what's in the TM.
Installed a HMMWV dual voltage output alternator. 100A on the 24V side, 25A on the 12 (I think).
What a pain in the you know where. Oh lordy.
I got this alternator from Maccus a while back. My stock 60A unit died and this was the only spare I had, so I had to go ahead and install it...
No excuse for the plugged vent hole, but you know these trannies don't use a traditional front seal, they have the weird grooved input shaft that's supposed to repel the gear oil back into the trans?
I think Jeepsinker was working on a new style retainer housing that would use a seal, can't...
I want to clarify Pete's statement for new attendees who aren't familiar with the rally.
The field where we hold the rally has about a dozen camper spots that have power, water and sanitation hookups. As you can imagine, a rally with 500+ people sells out of these few camper spots quickly...
I talked to the insurance agent and he says we're covered for asteroids and meteors. He did say that was an unusual question he typically doesn't receive.
Ok, read this everybody:
Alright folks, we're less than a month out from D-day. So here's some friendly reminders:

OK folks, we're a month out. So here are some gentle reminders:
Is your lodging plan set?
Is your vehicle (civvy or military) serviced, safe, reliable and ready to make the trip?
Do you have a food plan (bringing your own, MKT, etc.)?
Looking forward to seeing everyone again!
Ok, I've got a couple items to add that I want to sell, cheap. I am cleaning up my property (well, attempting) and I just want this stuff gone, hence the low prices. If you want, speak up. Because I'm not bringing it to the rally unless it's spoken for. I'll be busy running the event and...
I like that truck, really cool. Early USAF gasser.
If you come to the rally, I am sure we can find somebody to pick you up at the airport. We'll make sure you have a good time.
That looks really good. Clean unit.
You should join us next month in Georgia, you'll have a lot of fun. There is a link below in my signature line.
There are some guys who are going to convoy down from Flintville as well: https://www.facebook.com/events/850382701759871/
This site doesn't use an offsite host; we ask that users post their pictures here.
And I will tell you why:
If you go to any and every internet forum on this earth, any thread that's more than 90 days old is utterly and totally useless because the site has no control over where the posters are...
I see this advice all the time on the web. Can someone explain to me how this works?
Doesn't every county only have one DMV? I live in Barrow County. If I go to the Barrow County DMV and they refuse me, I can't just drive over the adjacent DMV in Jackson County, can I? Won't they just tell...
The event is a rain or shine event.
Now, we've always been a rain or shine event, but after doing this for 10 years, we've learned a few things.
Most importantly, the MKT has tents so people can shelter from the rain when they're eating. We don't have enough tents for all attendees at once...
Ross Moir used to say something to the effect of "The M123 has one purpose in life: to bankrupt civilian operators".
I think AMGeneral's point above is the truth.
The weird tires, high cost and low speed really kill these things. I get them from a collectors standpoint, I'd loooooove to have...
