    Deuce & 1/2 Gun Trucks

Wow, those are all really awesome. What a great collection coming together. I am beginning to think this whole internet thing might work after all.

    Anyone here have a T-72 or 55/54/60????

    1. There is NO FFL license required to own a demilled cannon, nor a live one for that matter. It is an approved Form 1, and it is a Transfer. Nothing to do with any license. 2. You can no longer import ANY barrel into the US, rifle, pistol, or cannon. FACT. Whatever might have been legal 10...

    Anyone here have a T-72 or 55/54/60????

It is not illegal to have a demilled gun, but it is no longer legal to import with a demilled gun as before. Now, you can not even import the barrel, cut or otherwise.

    Anyone here have a T-72 or 55/54/60????

I have ridden in several T-72s and T-55s. Anyone over 5'8" 170- my size, will be just plain miserable or not fit at all. These are CRAMPED vehicles and not made for folks over 5'7" 125. It is just not going to happen. The roomiest MBT's on the market are British. No way around it.

Coolest thing I've seen on ebay in a while...

A lot of effort and expense went into building this, but when its all said and done, it's fake.. And having a fake anything, Ferrari, Cobra, or Tiger, it gets pretty old real fast always having to say, "It's fake, It's not real." It also has no collector value. For that kind of money, you could...

    USAF Special Operations Minicycle

Some time in the early 90's I saw photos of a USAF SOF display at Hurlburt showing CSAR/PJ gear including a RATT and some kind of small motorcycle. I think it was a Yamaha and it was Minicycle or even minibike size. It was definitly two wheel, not more. Anyone know what I'm recalling?

    M-151a3??

Here's some VW Iltis "FAVs", not the Bundeswehr Super Stallion in the background. They can carry two vehicles each.

    M-151a3??

The FAV concept using Mutts filled an interim need for mobility from a helicopter, either CH-47 or Super Stallion depending upon the service. Some were weapons platforms, others medivac. They referred to them as FAV for moral purposes. The German and Belgian armies did the same thing using the...

Have up-armored humvees ever been sold to the public?

The term used was "plummet" not "drop". Big difference.

Have up-armored humvees ever been sold to the public?

wreckerman, You are suggesting the value of a Sherman would plummet if m-88's were released to the public? Or for that matter, a 1928 Thompson if M-2HBs were sold off?

Have up-armored humvees ever been sold to the public?

I love it when someone throws out "the Government" this or that. There is NOTHING restricted about owning armor in this country. You can buy a Sherman, or Scorpion, or brand new Level IX Mercedes SL-500. It is nonsense to state otherwise. As stated, it takes little to do it yourself, too...

    What is this?

It is what's left of a heat guard.

Does any one have knowledge or photographs of civilian based 80’s three wheelers?

Hey Lonesome715, You owe me big time now dude. Took me forever to track down a declassified photo like this: USAF SOF used Kawasaki KLT-250's in the mid 80's, around 83-88. Forward air controlers mostly, not PJs.

Unless you are planning on robbing a bank, why bother?

    New Military GPS by 2010

Yeah, and Polaris is a big waste of money. You're paying for the name. It doesn't do anything a new Garmin or Magellan won't do. For that matter, my iPhone does 90% of it, plus 75,000 other programs.

    TD Pinz at Calico

I don't know...still looks maybe Photoshopped. The legend continues....

    LAV-150 Gwinnett Sheriff SWAT

Going to burger drive-ins like Sonic is a lot more fun than groceries. The drivers hatch makes for a great tray and it does fit under the awning, just barely. Going to the dog park is fun, too.

    IDF Armor

Very good site. Adding one, a Magach 7 that took a wrong turn.
