just found your thread. excellent. I have been having strange problems on my breaks. if I open the air tank valves(both) and let air vent directly to atmosphere I have some hydraulic brakes. enough to stop the truck at low speed. if i close the tank valves the pedal is hard as a brick and...
Great thread. I like your attitude. Gotta try it at least once!! definitely a lotta work though. Sure wish I had a nice flat piece of concrete to work on. Keep up the progress. Can't really say much about the seal being right side out or not. Sometimes those TM's don't have good pictures...
Looks very professional and a lot of work. Great job. Have you noticed any change in turning the wheel stop to stop? looks like you may have a bit of trimming yet to do on the inner fender parts.
Someone mentioned "lubing" the Air over unit. Been looking thru some TM's and can't seem to find a reference. Anyone know what this is referring to and /or how to do this? Mine is acting up and will make the pedal like a rock stiff once pressure builds up. I am not driving on the road and am...

I definitely don't want to on-road my...
Thank you phil2968 and MWMULES. I have been following Razer and the M 146 RV project. Very impressive. Also read a couple of the other conversion threads on SS. very inspiring. I kind of thought a number of folks were wrapped up with other things. No worries. Now that i am retired I have...
Kind of feel like I am talking to myself--HaHaHa--Anywho--I was able to locate an M146 Manual from Liberated Manuals website. I also talked to the driver of my loaded trailer and they confirmed you can roll the trailer without air lines hooked up at the gladhands. After reading a few threads...
I have been reading few other threads about the M146 and they seem to say that the trailer has no parking brake and will with a fifth wheel under it and no air connection.
Can anyone confirm this is the case please?
Newbie here to steel soldiers. I have a M275 tractor and just acquired a M 146 trailer. It is being brought in on a removable goose neck trailer. I discovered that my air over oil brake booster needs rebuilt I think. I rebuilt the main brake booster and was able to get the tractor brakes...
Hi--new to the forum. I just won a M146 trailer in Indy from Gov Liq. I need to move it to Broomfield Colorado, Just North of Denver. Its 132 " tall 8 feet wide and 272 inches long. no load out assistance at pick end is available. Any chance we can set something up?
