    Oshkosh wins JLTV Contract.

If you are in it and an IED goes off I'm sure you won't be quibbling over how much it costs if it works.

Official '15 Ga. Rally Info thread

For those that saw Z's post I am working to see what I can do to resolve the issue. It happened during my watch. For those that didn't see the post, show up to the rally and ask me about it. Heck, for those that saw the post show up to the rally and ask me about it. :-)

    Abandoned deuce in southeast PA...?

That's not that bad of shape. I am hoping it is an optical illusion but in the pic it looks like it has a straight axle in front. Probably my old eyes, it may have a snow plow bracket on it. I like the "put a piece of metal" over the front bumper gap. :-) Save it if possible.

    HF Jack Stands

Gimpy can tell you if I'm under anything in my barn it has jack stands AND the floor jacks still under as well. I sometimes use two sets of jack stands. I saw a car fall on a neighbor once. He was lucky it only landed on his foot. I think I have one set of HF 12-ton and three other sets and...

    M818 better fuel mileage

A wise old man once told me if you have to ask what the fuel economy is you can't afford to drive it. The only thing I would want to do on your list is the duel fuel line but that's only to make it idle smoother (for me). If it needs fuel I put some in it, if it doesn't then I don't. I'm not...

    Epic road trip

That's interesting, my surrogate son-in-law is an engineer for Cat and lives just outside Peoria. His first name is Steve. When Gimpy took his Deuce to the GA Rally his IBC had fuel in it but with a hose on the bottom outlet and I fueled up the truck when we stopped with gravity. Like he said...

    M923 prices?!

They are going to be holding it then. $155/ton for scrap last week. (But scrap price is a regional thing.) About $275/ton just to get back what they paid for it but there is a lot of work just to scrap a vehicle. Maybe they bought it for parts.
