We had one like this on one of clintogf's trucks. I ended drilling all the way to the bottom of it, putting in a super long lag bolt and then prying it out, using a pry bar under the head of the lag bolt and increasing amounts of cribbage as a pivot point (2x4's).

After having deuces now for almost 5 years, I would definitely recommend to anyone that they invest in a cheap aluminum carport if they do not have a garage they can keep the vehicle in. The issues of tire dry rot, cab and cargo bed cover fatigue are great enough to justify the $5-700 investment.
The one in clintogf's M1009 was markedly different. The gauge is lit using a bulb that snaps in the back, not the "side lighting" that the M-series trucks use. I don't remember it having a packard connector either, but I can't remember if it has a stud and an eyelet or a wiring connector.

clintogf just got an M66 setup and she needs a mounting plate (see attachment) as well. We have a friend who says he can fab a replacement, so either dimensions or a real size template. We'd prefer a template.
Obviously we'd take a plate too.
