3k breaks down to 500 per tire/rim. You figure 100 per adapter and 100 for the hardware thats 300 for the tire and rim. Sounds like a good deal imho.
No, its not a steal, but i doubt you'll find much better very easily.
Some run flats have the beadlock built in, like the ones I have. So it doesn't have to be one or the other. I believe the ones I have are for the lmtv with 395s, but should work in a 1400.
Are you sure its motor oil?
The deuce trans has a habit of getting warm and pushing gear oil out the input shaft. The flywheel has a lip on it that kinda protects it from motor oil if it is in fact the rear main leaking.
A quick google shows the 2522 has a cfm of only 395.
I believe the stock filter is 410 or 440. Not a big difference, but when you add the restriction of both filters, I bet your egts are suffering.
Ive used a product called armaflex before with good results. Its a rubber insulation that glues on. I used 3/4 thick material for my project and would do it again, but its not cheap. Also there is a thing called heat soak, you cant insulate against ambient temps.
Ive had a few inquiries about my plugs, I use(sell) the receptacle for the vehicles to put on the charger so you can use the slave cable to connect them. I don't have any slave CABLE plugs.
Id just drain the filter housings and carry on. If you decide youd rather replace the filters, I have usgi secondary filters with the correct gaskets for $5 each plus shipping, pm me.
