There is the older military canvas covering and then there is some more modern stuff, that feels a lot smoother. I like the modern stuff a lot more but I don't think any of the standard canvas suppliers offer it. Can you post up what you have? Sounds promising.

That's pretty high.
Last instrument cluster I had done was for a '69 Road Runner. It was a little less than a grand and it was a messed up cluster-needed a new speedo head, printed circuit board and bunch of other stuff. All gauges stripped to bare metal, repainted and re-stenciled...
I don't know, I am kind of fond of it; it was NOS when I got it.

That is a really great find, very complete and not beat to death.
The gas tank is a typical issue-get damaged easily in more difficult offroading maneuvers.
The deck is gorgeous. Wish mine was that nice.
Purple stuff and a pressure washer.
DO NOT use too much pressure or get too close. You will leave marks in the CARC.
