I saw the meter flash "OL" briefly. That indicates there is more than 10 amps being drawn causing the CB to trip.
Don't keep trying, you may blow the fuse in the meter.
I watched all 3 videos. After the "fuel pump" one it looks like it NOT due to a primary fuel pump issue or the breaker being slightly overloaded.
The voltage on your meter going from 0 to 24 volts is just indicating that the CB tripped.
I see your meter can measure current. I'd suggest you...
Your videos worked.
Interesting, CB1 pops when you move S1 from Prime/Run to Start.
As previously posted you ought to measure the DC current going through CB1 to know for sure if the CB is bad or if something is drawing too much current.
That would be the right way to start to track down the...
As previously posted all the part numbers for the set are listed in the -24 TM.
In the TM you can locate the OP switch and its "find number " 15 in the image below.
Scroll down and locate find number 15 in the parts list.
There is a typo in the TM. It should say 15, not 5 in the second column...
I have a running lists of notes like that for the MEP-80x, MEP-831 and now the MEP-10xx sets.
A compilation of info from members posts where they found commercial replacements that work.
I'd suggest disconnecting the GFCIs output to the outlet and see if the tripping stops. If it does the outlet may be bad. If it still trips then I'd say the GFCI is toast.
The GFCI in one of my sets is flakey. It doesn't trip, but much of the time after starting I need to "flick" the reset button to get power to the outlet.
Does yours trip and pop out?
For starters I'd suggest the following.
1) If the set has the Fuse Mod check to be sure the fuse is installed and that it's good.
1) Measure the AC Voltage at the outlet while the set is running. What's the AC Voltage?
2) Measure the AC Voltage at the outlet while the set is running and...
Could someone measure the AC Frequency of the signal from the MPU to the Electronic Governor Controller on their 804 while it's running?
It can be measured at the electronic Governor Controller across terminals 16 & 17.
Many thanks!
I've been actively working on this to provide the MEP community a solution for the hard to find Float Switches and Fuel Level senders.
Today I bench tested a breadboard version and it worked well. :)
Ording some PCB's Monday to build a few prototypes and fully test in my 802A.
Assuming the...
The OP sensor is a 3 wire sensor. The DCS provides it 5 VDC and ground to power it.
It's ratio metric output varies from 0.5 VDC at 0 PSI to 4.5 VDC at 100 PSI.
Maybe put a meter on its output terminal C and monitor its output voltage to see if it's incorrect?
