Rotella T6 year round. No fuel additives. Both my trucks have started well sitting overnight down to -5F without the block heaters, using the TM starting procedures.
I always let the trucks run a couple of minutes post afterglow when it is < 32F.
Configuration:

On the side you don't want to check, find a way to block it so the axle shaft on that side cannot turn, in your case the right or passenger side. Easiest way might be to lock the hub and chock the tire.
Then rotate the drive (propeller) shaft and report back.
Don't forget to undo the blocking...

I utilized Badger Diesel in Wisconsin based on what other members had reported. A rebuilt IP and injectors on one truck and rebuilt injectors on the other. Almost two years later and the trucks are running great.
I also utilized their return line. No micro clamps to hassle with.
