This Year has been bad for mice around the farm. I have tried the dryer sheet no luck, sticky trap caught it but all the wrigling around on the floor got dirt on the trap and they were able to get off and chew the rest up. poision works but not well,I have found a winter storage of poision in the...
I am no expert, but from what I know of it (and has been mentioned) the multi is a direct injection wich uses a hyper cycle to aid in combustion. My mercedes has pre combustion chambers with glow plugs. The pistons in the Multi have a "bowl" that fuel is directed to and causes the swirling. The...
A winch can be a very handy tool. If You plan on off roading I would get one. I have had to use mine several times. I have a pto driven and a hydraulic. I like the hydraulic better due to ease of use by one operator. You could buy a truck without and add a hydraulic later.
I seem to remember a post as of late that a fella said you can't stick a five ton. Well...... Also I don't think that Cat has 9 lives! Glad you are out and no one was hurt. I got in a little pickle last week end. had the truck on a 30 degree angle stuck in the creek flats and backed into a...
Not to disuade You ,but I have heard of those old Cummins siezing up if they sit too long. I would see if it is free, if not I would pass. If You have a use for it dump, plow and the heavy tools to work on it then go for it. You could probably find an M813 or M54 from the "other" sources that...
I think the intake looks good! I also don't think there would be any ill effects to the cap being up there. My five ton is level off the top of the filter from factory. also since the intake is 3 1/2" and the pipe is 4" there should be no added resistance. I will think of this the next time I...
I thought the two hole nozzles were for the LDT, and one hole for the LDS? I am thinking the LDS has a differant pump. I would not worry just put it in. You will find alot of answers when you pull the pan. I don't think they would have put the hydraulic pump on if it was being rebuilt to 2 1/2...
That engine in the can is prety close to your weight estimate. I have a JD 4440 with loader and was just able to lift it out of the bed. I think your one ton would handle it, just check your tires temp and pressure every so often. Are you going to add hydraulic assist steering?
I think mid 80's is when they forced manufacturers to stop production of the 3 wheelers. 85' I think, because of the dangers of the machine. This may have been the reason for them being destroyed. I have never seen the Kawasaki 3 wheeler before now. If I see one I will know who to contact. good...
You might want to give the local body shop a call . I seem to remember something about paint problems with burnt steel. If the price is right I would not be afraid of it as long as it was contained to the inside of the cab. You can always get a cab and doors from someone that is parting one out...
The only problem I see with this test is that I have not had two trucks run the same. Some would start in cold weather some would need a shot of the flame heater or ether. I would think that to be more accurate you would have to do the test on the same truck with the three diferant types of...
Hey You guy's be safe, keep the door cracked. You don't want pass out from fumes off those heaters and find you installed a gasser in the wrecker! by the waynopics
