If you treat them like any other 24 year old K5 Blazer, they will give you similar service. The Military electrical concerns are surmountable with minimal effort, if you are handy with those issues in general. If not, they can cause you irritation of some kind, from time to time. For...
Xfer cases can be noisy and of course the ebrake shoes bounce around if all the little springs are not in place and if the mounting pins are worn. Lots of grease fittings and oil can points to look after... in the LO 9-2320-209-12
It is a transfer from the Naval Construction Battalion, Davisville RI (big shipping port, now closed.. I went there many years ago when they were auctioning 300 M37s individually in one day...) To the US Property and Fiscal Office State of Ohio, Army Reserve and NG. Probably turned in as...
When towbaring, the excitement comes the first time you make a sharp turn and the towed truck does not return to center. Be ready for that to happen when you come out of the gas station, the mini-mart or in the center of town. Some folks put a driver in the second one to make the hard moves at...

Oh, no the dreaded manuals... as an aside, I towed my 88 Lincoln Town Car with my Bluebird Motor Home from Orlando FL to the Canadian Border with no prep, just put er in N, and a Uhaul rental tow bar clamped on with no tranny damage...darn thing rusted out at 200000 miles though...
Not sure which contract when the Air Shift xfer case was made standard. The various rebuild programs added air shift to many early trucks thru the years, and even on the local level like the AR and NG CSMS were doing them on a one off basis with a kit which included, the MF engine and a new LF...
From the -20: Disconnect each glow plug lead and check for resistance between glow plug terminal and ground. Resistance should be 0.45-3 ohms (Wellman) or 1-3 ohms (GM). If any glow plug does not have the correct resistance, replace.
