    Need CUCV starter.

    Don't forget to use new bolts and torque them accurately and put on the front brace and have good batteries. Might as well put in a new fuel filter, too and check the glowplug operation before you burn up the new starter. When they start after a long crank you will love the noise and the smoke!!

    Testing glow plugs

    From the -20: Disconnect each glow plug lead and check for resistance between glow plug terminal and ground. Resistance should be 0.45-3 ohms (Wellman) or 1-3 ohms (GM). If any glow plug does not have the correct resistance, replace.
