I''l be running a convoy of European vehicles up to the MVPA convention from Northwest Mogfest. NWMF alwasy takes place the third weekend in August. It's an event you don't want to miss if you have a European military vehicle.
Thom,
That looks really good! Great for when you have to change the injector pump out. If you can't figure out how to mount your rear bumper, try fitting an M1008 bumper to the M1009. I've done two of them and they look great. If you decide to do so, let me know and I will email you...
Get onto the Pinzgauer groups on Yahoo. Lots of great people there. There are a lot of Pinz owners in the Portland area and most of them go to Northwest Mogfest. www.northwestmogfest.com I know there is a Pinz owner in Washougal too.

That last picture looks like it was taken right where I live!
Have you ever seen Rick Thiers' Suburban CUCV? He did an excellent job at converting it, even right down to making a spartan interior with canvas lined doors. His has the diesel and already had a lift kit. He's located in Atglen...
RE: Stage
I've got plenty of space here in Nevada. No bases too close to me though. I've been storing a laundry trailer for a guy in California for about a year and a half now. Put me on the list!
Empty weight is around 5,000 lbs. It is made with some very heavy steel C channel. I recall that the deck is 1/4" thick. The axles are very heavy as well.
