Right now motors are cheap and I'm not very knowlagable on rebuilding one.

Mine did the same thing. The air fan actuator went out causing the fan not to kick on, overheating it. Drained oil, about 3 gallons of antifreeze in the oil. Sick feeling. Dropped the pan, bunch of metal chunks, even sicker feeling. The number 5 cylinder liner had popped around the bottom orings...

Try lubricating everything associated with the hood. May help.

Did a recovery with a buddy of mine. Odometer says 10,000 miles. I think it was a good deal. Imagine the truck right side up.

My truck was full of coolant also. Started right up and didn't have coolant out the pipe. Took the oil pan off and the bottom of the #5 cylinder sleeve had came apart allowing coolant to pour in. Life sucks sometimes!
