We used straight 90 w oil in everything but the engine when I was in the corps, straight 30 w in the engine. That is what I use in my 1952 deuce, no problem, still runs great,61 years old. :beer:
If you look at my avatar you can see the numbers on the hood,numbers also on back bumper. deuce markings in same place.In pic I am standing in front of tac markings. This pic was taken in 1963. At that time we didn't have any 5 tons.Things might have changsd after the mi 60`s.
I have a 1952 Studebaker m-35, I use straight 30 w in the engine and 90 w for everything else. That is what we used when I was in the Corps. This is a gasser engine. :beer:
