Google search: Yesterdays Tractors. On the left hand side about in small print will say 'hauling schedule.' Click that and people hauling with open areas or one way empty or hauling needs will post up. Sometimes you can piggy back in with someone and save a few $$$.
Need to see if anyone is heading east with maybe 8' of space and 1,400lbs worth of room on a truck/trailer. THANKS!!!
Will check other threads for suggested haulers too.
I thought I was going to have to get the Mog one day to drag the M931A2 a few feet so the T-case would change ranges. That's about the crappiest part of the entire truck. Why the F-, no... how in the H*LL did something like that make it into production? I haven't had time to really look over...
He sold the rail gear. The Mog in the pic has the rail wheels and associated hydraulics for it but doesn't show the front and rear rail couplers my buddy's had. Wow was that impressive the amount of weight they had on them. I saw one at Penn-Hazel Equipment one time with full rail gear and a...
For you guys adding WMO or ATF for a lubricant in the ULSF, that's blending fellas, got a permit? I buy the stuff at Advance Auto that adds lubrication and cetane boost for the Mogs 30+yr old Bosch pump...and it's legal.
It's not rated to pull as much as a Mog. See this little number outfitted with rail gear: 300 tonnes up to 18% grade. That's over 661,000 lbs. They made these units with 6 and 8 speed manual transmissions with torque converters. Not pretty, but who needs to be pretty when you're...
The Detroits in marine applications are way up on power with twin turbos and intercooling. It's nothing to see an over 700hp Detroit 8V92 shoving pleasure yachts through the waves. Yes, it's a different comparison, but it's got more load on it and making more hp the whole time...plus they...
The electronic ignition I put in mine, back in the day, worked very well and the HEI distributor fit right in with no modifications... ... ... ...to that big block Chevrolet V8.
How about 10 on 11.25". Where are you getting 16 from? I've seen 10, 20, and 20 on a 21 pattern spacing for the beadlock but only 10 for the wheel unless what you have is off another piece of equipment...
Picture the bottom of a piece of channel sticking down and the top of another sticking up and overlaping. They have this on both sides so it's held captive onto the trailer yet would allow it to travel lengthwise up and down the trailer. The base of thee crane has two axles supported on heavy...
The GL-4 and GL-5 deal was a big event with older Unimog transmissions as people on the Unimog boards were going crazy about how the new GL-5's would eat up their transmission. I found that NAPA sold GL-4 in gallons under the CRC STA-LUBE brand so I got that at like $30/gal. My buddy a very...
Do it! Hang a spring set in the rear, drop the rear most driveshaft and see what you can do. You could...always...ditch the stock rears and put a set of later Rockwells under it and plop in a NP205 behind the small block dealie that's already in there. Then you have no worries on hubs, T-case...
