Transmission modulator cable may be sticking, attaches to the throttle linkage and left side of transmission. Disconnect, lube up, and ensure it is not bidding. -report back.

My M35A3 is equiped with the CAT 3116. Good engine, starts on the first revolution of the starter, runs strong. Do a little info search on the engine. They are utilized as marine powerplants and perform well. They are a little more $$ to maintain, however, if you buy an MV for collection/fun...

Tbar, -don't over think it. Rotella in the crank case and a little Diesel Kleen in the fuel tank. Your NHC 250 develops a lot of torque and a little horse power. Don't mess with a good thing. JC

"149 MEB" is in Eastern Kentucky, KYNG. I have a couple trucks and M105s from that unit. Also units based in Lou. KY.
