We arrived on post at 0900. It was My uncle (who works at Fort Polk), his son Ben, my friend Jeremy and myself. I got Jeremy to start installing the guage set while Ben started to remove the batteries. The batteries were new in 07 and I think they will take a charge! First thing I did was open...
Pretty excited! Got a group of guys, tools, fluids and a to do list. Gonna try to start her up first then do the brake checks. Can't wait and will post pics soon.

Yes, beer fridge is stocked! I have not sen it personally. I did have my uncle go take a glance and he said it looked good and tires were good. I got it for $1870.00.
Yes, Fort Polk. The wait wasn't long at all. I guess about a month, maybe a little less. I set up an appointment for next week to get it off the lot then I'll go the following weekend to pick it up!
Woohooo!!! I am calling today and should go pick up my truck in a week or two!! Pretty excited. I will document the recovery and post here along with specifics of my yet unseen truck. YES!
I had already bought mine but jimm1009 was kind enough to let me drive his. My son Evan and I had a blast! I might just need another deuce driving experience soon to quench my thirst while waiting for my truck!
From what I hear the folks at Fort Polk, LA are pretty nice and if my phone conversations with them are any indication I willl have no problems. I hope so.
