Just added 10 gallons of diesel, 15 gallons of 10 micron filtered WMO (waste motor oil) and 5 gallons of 87 oct gas. The m/f whistler is running much quieter and there is little or no exhaust smoke.
RE: Re: RE: Turn sigs.
Just went through this issue on my truck. Ground was fine, but worth checking first. It turned out to be the flasher unit. A quick $49 dollar fix.
Did the frustrating search and could not find my answer, so I had to post the question.....
I need three of the red (or any color) lens covers for the directional and high beam indicator bulbs on the gauge cluster. So them on Ebay for $20 bucks and chocked. Any other sources or options guys...
I will need a heater before winter sets in here in NH. I liked the Swing Fiire multi-fuel heater I had in my Unimog. The cab was warm in minutes. Anyone install one like this in their deuce?
I also found a real nice hot water heater replacement below for a great price.
Go to Ebay and purchase a 25 micron nylon sock filter for about $10.00. Fits perfectly in the tank filler neck and will filter excellent. The nylon socks can be cleaned over and over. I am using two 25 micron sock filters together and just ordered two 5 micron sock filters. But I made a...
Did the muffler mod on Brutus yesterday. Used the Napa (Walker) muffler, took about an hour, painted it with green Rustoleum Green Stove (heat resistant) paint with two coats. Cut the tip to shortened it and welded onto of the muffler and reinstalled the clamp. Purchased the muffler at Rock...

Anyone else using Acetone for a...

Traveled down I93 South in NH today,to bring my new rig home. A total of 58 miles. Other than a quick heavy rain shower, which scared the bejesus out of me (NDTs!!!) the truck handled great. I hit a top speed of 58mph with a tach reading...

I am in the process of setting up my filtering system for my deuce, so I have been visiting local garages to obtain a good monthly supply of oils. It seems most auto garages dump everything into their waste oil drums, including the deal-breaker, anti-freeze.
So I figured I would visit small...
RE: Air powered transfer pump
An excellent thread, let's beat them at their own game. Knowledge is power! At $4.79 / gallon at my local sunoco, this information is sought after, for me at least!!!
I have seen centrifuges selling on ebay for $200 - $2500. I like the idea, but is it overkill for a daily driver that will clock less than 10k miles per year?
RE: Tips and tricks
Sarge,
Boy, well said. I can't believe the knowledge base on SS, invaluable for a MV enthusiast. This site uses the theory of "why re-invent the wheel"!!!! I made a small donation when I first joined and plan on donating again to support this great site!
