On deuces and 800 series and perhaps 900 series, you need to lubricate the air pack. go to the manual section of ss and down load the pertinent manuals. My M813A1 started doing this when I bought it and lubricated it worked for me, not to mention checking all the brakes, etc.

Both my M1101 trailers have this style landing leg. One has the wider wheel whereas this one has the thinner one. Both are 1997 dated trailers SN45xx and have all 3 mwo's done. Works good and does not interfere with hmmwv when turn a hard left or backing up.

I thought I would add that in pm'ing one of my M1101 trailers, I found the surge brake plunger ( a "T" shaped part) to be broken. This would cause the surge brake not to work. Manual 2330-01-387-5443, Figure 6, Item #5 Part number is 14417 $13.00'ish

Willie, I hope I am not too late on this. To my knowledge, the 4 speed bayonet is similar to civilian ones. The 3 speed had a special water proof setup when the dwf kit was added. Get the 4 speed setup from an H1 or kashcar. The 4 spd tube/bayonet is much longer also.
