To get my HMMWV (M1097A2) in good running order... need help.

The whole body is moving and making those noises. Mine does it every time i enter a gas station or there are shifting road levels. Specially on the left front side. It is inherent to these trucks. It sounds exactly as a submarine diving.

I spent several months replacing tires, at one point i used to have 10 rims and tires and was weird. I could never get a confortable ride, suddenly the truck would start jumping or settle down at any given speed. I decided to go non military and i can tell you it's a big difference. I have put...

I haven't had time to get to it and replace...

I guess we can say it is worse than any of the big known bases where it is just a crap shot.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Most of the vehicles picked now (if not premium price paid) are missing half shafts and the likes. Part of the issue.

Thank you Steve, i had something in mind as the selenoids are right there but in the wire codes list it shows as something fire and i was at lost on that one. Do you happen to know where i can find a diagram for that section? As my fan clutch is engages the whole time. Also, any place i can...

    Arrival of 2nd HMMWV M1151A1

It looked to me like a Bimetal or temperature breaker as you said. I will try and follow it or look in the circuit where the other wires are supposed to go. Probably someone at the yard just placed it there for fun.

Yes, exactly the same. I am at lost on the other wire connected. I need to check the schematics as i did not check into it. I was looking for the fan clutch components to try and identify the selenoid (or whatever part thet is)
