So, did some SS searches and found a thread, but I wanted to drill down a little further.
What crimpers do you need for your FMTV toolbox?
I found in other threads:
Buchanan c-24
Dmc af8
Mention of a Douglas crimper.
Can someone please say which crimper you would want for each...
I believe you..... I have seen your posts and believe you know what you are talking about. I just am not picturing what you have in mind. Can you please explain?

For me, one is required so that in bad weather or a short stop, I don’t have to deploy a ladder or get wet or cold.
This link has some good info.

Only issue there is that if you want to run your engine with the cab up to work on it, you will have an open intake. That is dangerous.

I called Donaldson and they recommended different things depending on who you talk to.
First time, they recommend the powercore 12 to 14 size filters.
The second time I called, I said I wanted minimal maintenance, reliability, etc....they recommended a powercore 18 size, but then I said...
I saw how that one was built. They had lots of “new” ways to build campers. I didn’t like any of them. I think they could have missed the KISS principle.

I appreciate your willingness to think outside the box, but I would stop spending money on engineering solutions to problems that already have proven solutions and work on getting your camper done.
Just my friendly suggestion. I have to keep reminding myself KISS too.
Good luck...
From what I can tell, the fairlead from an A0 can bolt right up and the bumperette looks like it can be deleted.
I am guessing that is the intended design.
