    Central FL M1031 project

For my next trick, I need some help from the audience. I am trying to remember where this cable goes. It appears to have had a star washer holding it in place which leads me to the bus bars but I cannot remember where it goes. Please assist.

    Central FL M1031 project

Good evening, hope all is well where you are. I have been making good progress these last two days reassembling my truck. I have encountered one issue tonight. I have installed new transmission mounts and motor mounts. When I went to install the front drive shaft, the transfer case front...

    Central FL M1031 project

Another good afternoon. Finished up the crossmember and tightened up the cab mounts. Installed the torque converter bolts. Somebody help me out, do the transmission lines go behind the oil pan and then forward on the drivers side of the oil pan to the radiator?

    M1008 alternator

Based on your original post, it sounds to me that without the opposing pull of the passenger side alternator that the water pump shaft is getting pulled toward the drivers side causing the belts to slip. Your original idea of moving the drivers side alternator and wiring to the passenger side...

    Central FL M1031 project

Today has been a good day. After several months of doing little things at a time resealing the engine, trans and transfer, I have finally started putting the truck back together. Engine and trans went back in today. The transmission dipstick and the vacuum hardline are really fun to put...

    M1008 alternator

A little help for the power steering. If you look at the bottom adjusting bolt on the power steering pump, the bolt takes a 15 mm socket. BUT, on the other side of the bracket is the “nut” that the adjusting bolt threads into. You can put a 15/16 socket on that. Then use a ratchet strap from...

You might try to see if your local landfill or recycling company has scales they will let you use. I have done that with my RV at a local recycling place.

Has anyone installed a cooling system upgrade?

Here is the reason I cannot go over the top of the crossover. The M1031 has a governor control for the engine throttle. No room to run the hoses.

Has anyone installed a cooling system upgrade?

Getting closer to putting the engine back in the truck. I have installed the PBD cooling upgrade. Being that mine is an M1031 , i ran the hoses along the edge of the drivers side head and had them come out below the thermostat housing. I have ordered 2 each 90 degree elbows so I can connect to...

Dual tank setup with mechanical lift pump

I did some looking in the -34P. Found this, seems you can make item 16 from steel tubing and item 14 if you are handy bending tubing and using a flaring tool.
