No splicing for me... I took 24 volt power from the batteries and used a 50 amp solenoid with a toggle switch in the cab to control my accessories. Behind the solenoid is a bus bar with 24 volt power for future accessories and then a Pyle converter to get 12 volt power for cell phones, GPS...
