Just used my tire plug kit.
I haven’t taken a tire in to get a flat fixed in years.
Never do a road trip without it.
Those kits are wonderful!
Someday I’ll get new trailer tires.
The Rain-X antifog works.
There are also a few aviation products that work even better.
Can’t remember them all.
Prist aviation window cleaner spray also has the anti fog additives and it’s what I use.
Expensive but well worth it.
Luckily I don’t have to pay for it.
Delphi and Bosch make them and are top quality replacements.
Bosch is what the trucks originally came with from factory.
Check ebay for Diesel 6.2L injectors.
Lots will come up but stay with the two brands mentioned.
It’s still an active auction so I can’t post listing link.
Stay away...
I understand about chinese crap completely! But for a non moving part I wouldn't worry about it. I go to great lengths to avoid aftermarket Chinese, Mexican etc parts as well. It just depends on what it is. Your next bet is go to local salvage yard and try to find a used one. To be honest most...
12.3 is not charging.
Is the replacement alternator known to be good?
Checked by alternator shop?
Belt tight? Simple I know but not obvious to everyone.
Any fusible links left?
Check all your under Dash fuses and relays?
12v conversions are not all the same.
Bad thing about them is that...
Since all that was done almost 9 years ago, would be interesting to see if it worked.
Looks comical to me.
Definitely to big and heavy a trailer for a 4Runner.

Agree with going through truck before any long trips.
Most guys...
Pretty sure you can get new strikers from Rock Auto for under 10$ a piece. My dad put new ones on his 1008
I can find non-GM all day long.
Do not want Dorman brand or other China brands.
Only want GM strikers.
When I installed new Delphi injectors, the noise quieted down, especially at highway speed, and it also smoothed out the vibration a lot also.
Its a Diesel so it will always have vibration, but the new injectors made a huge difference.
Kinda extreme but to each his own.
Would possibly look better painted OD
The hinge is an easy fix.
Mine was almost in two and I drilled multiple small holes on both sides of split.
Then used .025 aircraft safety wire and basically sewed the almost two pieces together.
Very strong and glove...
Fiberglass replacements are the only way to go.
Lighter than wood and will never rot.
Never needs painting.
I also did the front gate modification and it’s been a very handy thing to have.
Worked out great for the hay loading.
