    If you do go electric I would suggest going 24v and using the slave port on front as your power source, that way you would not have to drill any holes in the body.

    There is a screw on the front of the gage face where you can adjust the pointer, it's at the bottom. A new oil gage is a good idea.

    Glad it arrived in short order, you may have to adjust the length of the support frame, mine was bent and required some trial/error before mine would fit.

    I have and use Motorola MT1000 low band portable radio's, they are cheap and work well. They also have the 150Hz tone needed to open the "new squelch" on the mil sets.
