**** yea you are right!!! jumped the switch and now cranky!!! the manual says ( I think ) ohm and check for open which I did.. so anyways we are in the right direction to uncover a bad fuel line!! looking for a return set of lines for #2 and #3!

Looking at the complete schematic it looks like I also need to check for power comming from terimanal 11 on the start switch s1 that would feed relay k3 a-1 to a-2

When I place the start switch to start nothing happens. I can jump the starter with no problems. Basically I have no power to the stater selnoid from the start relay. How common does this part go bad? There is power when the switch is set to start on the k1 relay at terminal A1-2 but not at A1-1.

Not right now with the glow plugs removed I am waiting for the glow plug gaskets to arrive Monday

harbor freight copper washer kit for the fuel filters 5.00 bucks!! Champion Glow plugs from Champion Direct and note they don't come with the copper gaskets!!

There are 2 on fleabay right now but I am waiting on 1800'diesel to let me know if he has a mep he is parting out. I would rather stay close to buying off people from this board for now.

Triple Jim changed the link in his post that I replied to it is now the correct link to GC trucks. I have emailed Tom a few times and he only replied once. I am playing with the idea of flying there and picking up parts and fly back if my other plans on here fall short

Status update!!!!!!! built new battery cables and installed batteries, replaced all fuel filters including the fuel pump filters... cleaned the fuel tank and lines... cleaned the ip...cleaned all of the sand from the cooling fins of the engine, distribution box and oil cooler... replaced oil...

I was there (Barstow) 3 weeks ago to pick up a lot and asked to preview a few lots for a member here. I was told I would have to call and set up a appointment to view the lots separate of my load out. They were not busy at the time I just had the fuzzy that they were not open to anything out...
