Hmm...not really ever had to answer those questions. Usually SF97 (filled out by myself and submitted to GL with the correct info that matched the truck) and vin verification worked. I never had to have CHP check any of my military stuff. I think others will chime in but...you need to educate...

Thats why I said dont tell them the weight until after the vin verification. :twisted: You can take their VV paperwork to the DMV and they will honor it. That is what I did because they did not realize the weight until the very end of the process. All the paper work was done but not entered...

Clear Creak near King City is BLM and an wonderful place...they closed it last yearaua In fact....I built my Duece specifically to tow my bronco there to camp....didnt finish it in time.... Better get to Pismo before they close that one too.!!!!
