They will operate intermitantly if you don't have the PTO engaged 100 % There a pain to get fully engaged . You really got to pull up on the knob until you feel like a second click .Thats probably what it was.

You can registure thru maine with a bill of sale using a fax machine. Look up Staab .I just got a set of tags good thru 2023. Got the tags in 1 week , And they will mail you a title . But the titles take up to 8 weeks to get.

Unless you tweek the Cat engine I think you would be unhappy with the swap. My M35A3 towing a 6000 lb trailer is a dog . So combined weight I'm at around 20000 . So 33000 would be more than a strech.
