Ya I saw that one too...had the XL's on it and I actually commented on it too :D Umm, I think it was buggyman's if I recall correctly. I liked that location.
I'd concur with the qrz.com practice tests: http://www.qrz.com/p/testing.pl there ya go. Just take the practice tests over and over for the technician. If you invest 30 mins each day for a few weeks...you should be able to pass the test without issue quite honestly. Ham radio is pretty...
Congrats on the win!
And yes...you've been warned on the pics...if you don't have them the next go around, there is official SS torture that follows... rofl
Good idea Kenny...done that aldy *grin* I don't think it's a dying hobby though...perhaps in some parts of the country. I was at our ham monthly meeting this past Tuesday evening and we're planning a D-Star mesh network over our county...connecting all of the repeaters via microwave for...
oilcan - thanks for sharing the story and the pics with us. I'm excited to go get my M818 here in the next few weeks (if the EUC completes that is). What did you think of the acceleration and general over all power of the truck?
Andy
Thanks for sharing the pics and the vid. It's great to see our MV's in action and especially when the duty is something along this line aint it. We're blessed to have these vehicles.
What do you mean before you send the full payment...you should send the full payment cuz you bid on it and wanted it more than the others that bid on it. Just my 2 cents...*grin*...not trying to flame you I promise. Oh, also...nice lookin' new wrecker!!! Congrats :D

I'm sure that some do get hurt getting in and out...but that's a really easy issue to solve, really easy. I think that the point is how incredible the truck is over all. It's certainly a terrific advancement over the 5 tons that we have the privilege of owning today. I like it...quite a lot...
CS - I know why you brought Maxim with you to FL...it was to sit 'tween you and gimp to keep the slugging to a minimum
Armada...the EUC is at Battle Creek and I'm itchin' to go get it...even more so hearing your story...shoot, hurry on up gubment!!
Armada...curious how the 818 did on the trip? Must say it surely looks good towing that 146! Sounds like ya'll had a great time and by the looks on your faces, you did. Looks a bit nippy up there though...brrr!
