where does the o ring go on wheel

Since it should be pretty self evident where the o-ring goes, I'll guess that your O-ring doesn't match up the with the groove? If it's too big, run cold water over it, too small = hot water.

    Axle Crooked?

Tracking and pulling or drifting are different items. It is normal to "hold light downward pressure on left side of steering wheel to track straight " the slant of most roads to the right can cause this. Front end alignment ( toe in), differences in tires from side to side (size, air pressure...

    My M886 Ambulance

Keep in mind that these were rivited for a reason. The cab & fenders are on thick rubber pads to allow for the frame flex & the patient compartment is mounted directly to the frame rails. The rivits allow for some movement and the thin sheet metal dome also alows some flex. Not enough as...

    M818 Broke down, Minot ND

Basically the arm/fork rides on the throw out bearing which pushes on the fingers of the pressure plate. Check the arm, is it connected to its pivot point? That is the only 'quiet' failure I can think of. (but I'm no expert)

I was not successful in obtaining a corporate sponsor to fund the transportation of the 31,000 lb shop trailer, or any other unique vehicle for that matter. Heard from the Military Surplus Store in Houghton Lake today, they will be at the show as a vendor.

Last Friday while enroute to a WWII event. I had the oppourtunity to participate in a Patriot Guard honor mission for a service at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Lack of an LEO to block traffic , had the M880 pressed into road block duty to get things rolling. My 1st chance to visit GLNCC...

    Axle Crooked?

It is a basic pretty straight forward job, therefore your mechanic shouldn't charge more than an hours labor.
