The TM shows good old scouring power and in the back section shows a cleaning compound 7920-00-061-0038 (81349) MIL-C-18718 which looks to be powder swimming pool cleaner (Calcium Hypochlorite),all which inciudes some chlorine. Go figure! Wayne
Stainless steel and chlorine (bleach) don't mix very well, just google for more info.
I wouldn't trust a water tank used by the Forestry Dept. there no telling what they had in it. If you do use it for
drinking water be careful about the very young and the very old drinking from it. The TM...
Well yes, some equipment is shared by the services but not all equipment is.
The Marines are well known for using equipment they think are better suited for them.
The radiators for the TOQ MEP-805A and the TOQ MEP-805B are different and the TM for the MEP-805A is not showing any numbers for...
TQG family might not just be the Army. The Air Force, Navy and Marine might have them. Maybe the OP can check his measurements.
Of course any database is not infallible. Wayne

Only source I see on-line is Saturn. According to the NSN the brake cylinders for the A1 trailers are the same as the M35 Series.
If you find a NAPA number please post it so I can update my records. Thanks, Wayne
The information below is from the TM and the web.

I bought trucks from the "National Sales" DRMS in the early 90s and all had the EUC that had to be filled out.
I know of two deuces that was sold at a local DRMO sale at Ft. Stewart GA that there was no EUC required but that was because when they were turned in, the NSN was wrong on the...
Define "pain". The G/L process is very painless. You have to remember all you hear about are the few that go bad.
Back then you were completely on your own, no on-line help and everything done by fax. Now a couple of clicks and you set back and wait. Wayne

Always keep in mind that a LEO can write a tricket for most any reason they want to, it is left up to YOU, to defend yourself at a later date. Wayne
Never seen a civilian tow truck flat tow a vehicle but tying down a steering wheel is not a good idea. When turning a towed vehicle, with the steering tied down or even with bungee cords it will try to push the towing vehicle straight. If the towing vehicle has enough weight in the rear it...
A bump in the road could cause it AND a right front blown tire will also cause a fast lane shift! In most (all?) states it is illegal for someone to be in a towed vehicle. Let a professional do it!! Wayne
The M107 have internal baffles.
One easy way to tell the difference is the location of the manhole, the M149 is located at the rear while the M107 is in the middle. Wayne
I don't know of anything wrong with any (I wouldn't want to drink out of any if I didn't have to) but the military went from Aluminum to fiberglass to Stainless if that tells you anything. Wayne
