I use the Bosch Duraterms. You can do a search on the site about them. They are pricey but I think that they are worth it. So far I haven't had any issues.
Does it run? If it does, then I can go get it and hold it at my LZ or I can drive it off base to a storage facility of your choosing. I may be an option... Last resort if you can't find anyone. I'll be back in Arkansas next week and can run down Thursday. Let me know.
Welcome to the site!! You have come to the right place. I've been to Wallingford a few times. My stepbrothers and sisters lived there and some still do. I grew up in Enfield.
The P2P will really help you if you have a PC or laptop to install it on. You can download it here: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B6t...TVmaHJLRVl6dU0
I just downloaded and installed it on my laptop. I have it installed on my PC at home. I just pulled up the Failsafe Warning Control...
That "E" is ground. When did you test those switches? I would ohm them out when the truck is running and at pressure, then I would check them when the truck doesn't have air. I'm assuming that they are normally closed switches and when the truck builds pressure it opens the switch which turns...

It is a fun convoy. Last year was the first...
It's all good :) I was the only 923 at the convoy last year and I think at Petit Jean too. Actually, it will be nice to see some more out there. I look forward to seeing you there. I know they have some fairly big plans for it this year. I think that I'm going to try and gather the troops...
Nice! I was watching the auction when it was on GL and then I saw it pop up on EBay and started watching it there. I've been stalking it I guess :) Congrats on the 5 ton!!!! Are you driving it to the Convoy in May? It's nice to see more 939 series in Arkansas but there went my uniqueness...
Here is a really great thread from the CUCV stickies that will help you troubleshoot: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?54292-CUCV-alternator-symptoms-diagnosis-and-fix
I'm always looking to up the big truck count!!! Show up those pansy trailer queens :) The convoy actually went really well last year with minimal breakdowns from the trailer queens.
I got the same email which means I must be back in a somewhat good standing with them although I'm not a club member :) I'm making arrangements to take my final company paid trip home during that time so I should be there. I'll wait a little bit longer, once I know that I can make it, before I...
it's on the tongue between the pintle ring and cargo section of the trailer. You may want to look over the tech manuals because they will more than likely answer your questions.
