    Very rusty M35A1 pciked up

Wow, I can see the holes from here. Must have been stationed or kept near the ocean. Looks like it's got a turbo'd multifuel in it by the size of the exhaust pipe. It's probably been overhauled a few times and modernized. Fenders are easy to find and not too bad to ship (relatively), as are...

Why aren't Korean era deuces as popular as others?

If you want to see a great movie with M-211s, see the movie "Sorcerer" starring Roy Scheider: http://blackholereviews.blogspot.com/2008/05/sorcerer-1977-william-friedkins-wages.html It's a re-make of a french film from the 50's called "Wages of Fear" about a team of drivers trying to get a...

The Helicopter straps are a giveaway.... How much are you looking at getting for it? What is on the frame? Does it have brakes and steering?

Would anyone be intested in this truck?

Will not have a motor *or* spare tire? Or...will not have spare motor and spare tire?

    1968 M35A2 W/W tranny problem

...oh and if you are replacing the studs, make sure you get the same length...even a little longer and you'll never get that PTO off when it's in the truck...it's that tight on the clearance.

    1968 M35A2 W/W tranny problem

OD Iron has the PTO seal kit...good time to change the boots and seals while it's out of the truck.

    Filter cross reference M35

Go to OD Iron...he has the right filters with the right o-rings for a decent price. Plus one-stop-shopping as stated above.

    OK, my bad. :)

    clutch-disk

Sounds like it all worked out in the end, so that's a good thing. You also learned a lesson on flat-towing. :) Gotta love stories like that with pics of grenaded parts. Good thing nothing else was damaged...you got off easy. :) I'm assuming you put in a new throwout and pilot bearing with...

Bobbed Deuce, the concept & performance

Talk to Mike at OD Iron...great wheels for going with 14.50s. Offsets perfect and you don't need to flip the hubs to make the tires line up perfectly front-to-back. http://s214.photobucket.com/albums/cc162/dantheman29a/Tires/

    LDS-465-1A in Deuce

:ditto: I think my LDS is louder (mechanically) than an LDT. I've heard them running side-by-side and the LDS is definitely louder...probably due to the bigger injectors and maybe pump settings/timing. I would agree with Ernie that the cam is different as well...more lopey. If you have the...

    PNW-CARC'd M35A2 w/w or w/ow need to buy one

RE: Selling a winched deuce-Washington State?? Dude..the post has been up for only 20 minutes before your reply. Try this guy: http://portland.craigslist.org/yam/cto/864401896.html He's got a few trucks for sale in that ad...might have a winch on one of them. Also...

    Question on deuce tires?

I have a buddy with a sloped plot of land that is all red clay...he has a tracked excavator and gets stuck on that stuff all the time. He ends up using the bucket to pull himself up the hill because the tracks just slide on that stuff. I think Chains and/or some winching will work. Also maybe...

    Slave cable adapter

Wait...you have a 2 pin *cable*...oooh. Ummm...should have read your post more clearly. I suggest maybe getting a NATO cable end and a 2 pin end from Saturn, and some welding 00 cable from a local welding shop and making your own. I've never seen a female-to-female adapter for slave cables...
