Looks like we are in the same boat :) But unlike you I'm waiting on the take forever EUC. Seems they keep taking longer since my first one but it has been 2 years since my last one. I'm going to keep weeding through all this info.... there is a ton of and its good but just a pain to keep up...
That's a lot of information to have to weed through to get some answers although it is great having a catch all. I know I am currently looking for what fluids to use. I'm going to put it in my mighty 5 ton parts search database plus I need to know what I will need to bring for my recovery. I...
Here is a little insight on the database so far. I am adding another feature that will give you the fluid capacities for each style truck like what simp5782 has on his Google document. Are there any suggestions of anything else to add?
I almost started a new thread about seat covers but I searched first :)
Thanks for the info. If they don't fade real easy then they are worth the money then.
My seats are in good shape on my M1009 and I would like to keep them that way so I'm going to cover them up. I figured I would revive this thread along with another that I found: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/cucv/82294-witch-smittybuilt-gear-covers-fit-cucv.html
I would like to see some more...
They have universal ones. I just got done cruising their website. I think they are really cool but for the price I wouldn't hope they would fade within a year. Any one else have these?
Here is a link to thread about the get together: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/upcoming-events/82626-arkansas-gtg-meeting.html
Just post on there or let me know if you are going.
I just bought the same CB as islandguydon has pictured. I got it due to the Army edition and the built in SWR. I'm mounting it in my M1009 and using an AB558 base with MS-116, 117, 118.
Ok here is some directions if you want the parts & maintenance databases:
Let me know which ones you want: Parts or Maintenance.
I will also need an email address to send the files to.
If you have Microsoft Access:
You need to let me know what year version so I can send you the appropriate...
Oh I also failed to mention that I will also be creating a simple database to log maintenance & mods for your vehicle. I have made one for each of my deuces and my civy vehicles. I create them in Microsoft Access, have no fear because you don't have to have Access to use these. There is a...
I finally got around to finishing up my database that I built for the M35A2 so now, since I have purchased an M923, I am building a parts database for 5 tons. It will almost be the same as the one that I built for the M35A2 except I think some of the categories will be a bit different along...
I am pretty much done with it and have distributed it to several people. If anyone would like a copy just let me know. Now I'm moving on to creating one for 5 tons :)
True but not true. It depends. If your OS died then you can still recover stuff off of the hard drive but if it was mechanical in nature where the hard drive toasted then yes, you are SOL. My OS took a vacation a couple years back and I had to recover stuff off of my hard drive because I...
I will keep you in mind. Once my EUC clears and I know for sure when I will be getting it, I may contact you for your info in case I run into issues. Thanks.
BTW. Welcome to the site!!! It's nice seeing another Arkansan on here. We are having a get together in North Little Rock on Mar...
