That's why I would use the base engine. No EPA crap. The only major issue you listed was oiling. The rest you can fix in the driveway. I have heard of problems, but GM extended alot of warrantys to 20 years and 200,000 miles. That's a long time. Still be COOL.

It won't be a daily driver, but I will try to spilt it with my C20. Most driving it will do will be on Friday night with my friends. Maybe back and forth to school next year. Depending on where I go.

You could use a semi trans. Why don't you use a Detroit Deisel semi engine. You'd have to do some mods to the front. But you would be the only Deuce doing Wheel Stands.

Maybe you could use a Semi Turck Transmission. Hey, Maybe a Detriot Deisel semi engine. Would have to do some front end mods. but it might be worth it. Only Deuce doing wheel stands!

RPM's should not be a problem. My anuts will run 3 grand all day.

I just thought it might be cool to have one with the Duramax. It would have the turbo's and and make about 360hp and 660Ft-lbs of torque. I might do it one day just to have fun.

Has anyone thought about dropping a Duramax in a Deuce? Twice the Hp and Twice the Torque. It is also lighter. The Spicer 3053A should bolt up real good. Any Ideas?

It did not move in 1st, 2nd, or Revese befor we bumped it. Could have been the T-Case.

A hard top is a must in this area. Heater would realy be nice. And with the snow we can get a wintch would be nice. My C20 pickup does a pretty good job in bad weather. But when you have AWD then you end up NEEDING it.
