Florida akm-- I can see your add now- WIFE FOR SALE OR TAKE OVER PAYMENTS-- low miles, good exterior and interior, kept under 40 and only drove on every other Sunday. lol hope this doesn't offend anyone
JWade, something sounds fishy here. When pictures are offered of your operation it is conveniently (under construction) I think
you are running your operation out of a strip mall next to a Chinese take-out and using day labors to do the paperwork. Sir, you better
come clean and quit...
G.L. and G.P. were both dealers in Floriduh, because the state was either lax in their title process or a loophole existed. My truck has antique tags, being registered as a former military vehicle (regardless of age) not a firefighting apparatus. Dilligraf posted the required form in post # 11.

I thought cage code meant--- cost always grossly exaggerated
I priced a small part a while back and almost fell over, those guys are highhhhhhhhhh
florida title
I wondered why G.P. was always issuing a --FLORIDA-- title on the trucks they sold. The Humvee titles are a problem and will continue to be. The government clearly DOES NOT WANT THESE DRIVEN ON ANY HIGHWAY in KANSAS in TEXAS and in FLORIDA PERIOD! Now you add Mr. that rule doesn't...
heads up
I have a antique tag issued to my 1990 923a2 and it is not classified as fire apparatus.
Just another reason for me to move back to Carolina, roughly 319 more sunshines and I'm gone!
I painted part of my first truck almost that same color. It looked ok on the paint stick, but on a larger scale it had too much of a KERMIT look to it. I went back to H. depot and purchased more paint of the correct color, but as stated its your truck, it may grow on you.

Yes, JWADE may be the one to pm if you can't get a straight answer from g.planet. He helped me as well as others get paperwork moving down the line. Thanks again JWADE for going to bat for us.
I've seen the dry ice blasters used. You can see them in action on you tube. They work really well and no clean up of sand or media left behind. The only problem is finding someone close to you that has one.
wait
Al,
That was a really good post-made a lot of sense, but we are not dealing with your average business, its the government. So in a world of unicorns and butterflies your Humvee would be hand delivered and sitting in your yard right now. Does it suck- YES - do they care -NO It doesn't...
Maybe you could set something up with your bank. Title mailed by out of state bank and money wired by your bank to his upon receiving title. I think it could be worked out like that somehow. You could cut the money in half, then when you get the title, mail the other half of the money(CUT MONEY...
