    removeing cluch and flywheel

    I need to pull my tranny to finish rebuilding my engine and sence I have it all apart I going to rebuild the cluch and have the flywheel turned but I need a good way to barr the engine to remove the flywheel, if anybody has a idea speak up.

    um this is going to be a lot of typeing :banghead: 1.(engine)looks like A1's had a cummins NHC 250 A2's have a Cummings 6CTA8.3 2. tranny Allison MT654CR 5-Speed automatic 3. T-case has Ratios 732:1-1.79:1 4. axle ratios? beats me :banghead: hope this helps :smilewinkgrin:

    I know called a friend of the family who was a motor-pool man he says I going to need a lot of help on this one, :banghead: any advice for pulling engine and think I can do it without the heads(they have the lift brackets) maybe something that go's on the stud's? no engine host so I'm going to...

    pappa-G I know the crank is not bent when they shipped it up here they drove it on to the truck the driver said it ran great no rumble or vibrations, pappa-G did you rebuild your engine I'm PMing you. Ken no Jacking bolt holes the ones on top are for oil pan.

    hey guys take a close look a the diagram there are two small holes in the back of the #7 main bearing cap. jasonS may be right if he is I'm in trouble.
