My bad, the 524 with 2x 442 is the VRC-48. A VRC-49 is 2 x 524s.
As for the question, yes, there should be room for a 524 and 2 x 442s.
There was a 'dog house' that went over the 442 when needed. Not sure about stateside units but in Germany, the KY57 comsec was mounted on the dog house...
Use WD1, WD1A or WF16 wire which are all the standard army communication wire. Wire comes in various length of rolls but the standards are the 1/4 mile DR-8 and the RL-159 which is 2 miles. The WF-16 comes on the DR-8 and the 5KM DR-5. As for phones, the normal would be a TA-1, TA-43 or TA312...
Original engine? trans? Bubbified? Yep, and would need to know the condition of the tub and if it is original. Are those combat rims in the back and if so, condition? History? Title?
$500 to maybe $3K just from the info and pictures provided.
No it's not about the question about the NSN. It's the hyperlink on your serial number and NSN. It made/makes it difficult to cut and paste that and not sure why it has a hyper link.
BTW RT524 will run you anywhere from 200 untested/not warrantied to over 600 for a tested/warrantied set.
AUX will be anywhere from 100 to 250.
Installation kit about another 100 up to 300 depending on what you are after.
Normally the VRC-46 or the VRC-47. That is the RT524 with or without the R442. I've seen GRC-160's on occasions. I've seen the multi-channel push button RT246 with R442 acouple times. I've also seen an RT524 with 2 x R442s on two occasions I can distinctly remember. Even rarer was to see 2...

The top one is a AN/GRC-160 (PRC-77 in a amplifier mount)
Bottom one is an AN/VRC-47 which is a RT524 and an R-442. The RT524 is a radio transmitter (RT) and by itself (installed with antenna) is an AN/VRC-46. Add the Receiver (R) 442 which is a receive only set and you get the VRC-47...
Speedomenter and tachs are swapped out more often than most probably think. I knew of one truck that went well over 5K miles with a bad speedometer that didn't track a single mile. In desert storm we drove one from port to TAA Henry without a speedometer, any lights in the front, only one tail...
I plan to be there with the CUCV and trailer---full of goodies. For most of you it will be your first time to experience the CARNAC deal fest. Come early, come often.
