Without trying to start a thread of pics showing the weird color schemes, or camo patterns, that civvys have given deuces after they leave the military service, thought I would start an interesting thread.
Does anyone have uncommon color patterns or camo schemes that were given to the deuce...
You might try TacticalTruck, last time I checked he had some that were pretty good for a good price, and he's only 20 miles away from us, Daniel, outside of Marshall, VA. Send him a PM, he might have what you're looking for.
Hmm...Looking at the map, East Stroudsburg is only about 10-12 miles from Gilbert PA, where I'll be at the Red Ball show third week of September. I might have to take the deuce a few miles outta the way to do a little side trip to the yard, see if he has any green stuff for sale. I'd really be...
Ok, found what it really goes in - it's VIC-4. The website might look familar, its one of our guys:

When you think about it, we are kinda like neo-pioneers of multiple fuel engine users. Very few other groups out there are like we are, we're able to burn very weird mixtures of fuel, reasonably efficiently. Not even most "green eco-friendly" groups out there can compare to the resourcefulness...
I don't think so. I saw a similar one on eBay recently, was thinking about bidding on it. I think it fits the VIC-3 intercom set, and is not interchangable with the VIC-1 and the VRC-12 series of radios.
Went to visit family last weekend, my trip north took me up Rt. 33 in eastern PA, east onto I-80 through the Delaware Water Gap. Soon after making the turn onto I-80 East, I saw a scrapyard on the right that looked like it had some camo and green shelters, might be some green iron there too. I...
When I towed a couple deuces home, I left the shafts in, left everything in neutral, and strapped the steering wheel in place. Not sure that last step was really needed, I just got kinda nervous about towing a large truck, and the wheels/steering wheel takes a sudden turn after hitting a...
Went up to visit family in NJ last weekend, swung by the Newton Armory in Newton NJ on the way back. I've spent some time here years ago, and the old M60A1 is still parked there as a gate guard for the armory. I used to see this tank driving around in the early 1990s, they used to have it out...
You might find it easier to just buy the slave cable ends, and fab a cable up from welding cable. It's 0 gauge welding cable, very thick and expensive. Austin Weber has the ends on eBay, his user ID is beltfed34.
Oops, my bad. I thought by double framed you meant that inner frame box for the pintle assembly. I didn't even notice that there is a C beam inside a C beam, I had to look closely. Wow, that must be a STRONG frame....
