If it's not low on fluid, you more than likely need a transmission rebuild. Whatever you do, don't drive it like that. You may ruin some of the hard parts internally which will make your rebuild more expensive.

Nothing really special to a TH400 non-lockup converter. As long as all the fins are in good shape, the only serviceable part is the sprag bearing. Any good tranny shop could flush it for you.
