The hotel I stayed last year was nice......and quiet.........and safe..........and no tool bowling.
Tell him I'll be there, with a sailor's hat on.

Now for the help.
Use the search function at the top and start looking for recovery threads. Basically take everything you would for a Deuce recovery. Do the normal checks AFTER reading the TMs on operation.
Better yet if this is your first and you have never recovered a truck like this...
I open up the old laptop to look at new threads and the first one that pops into my vision is Need Rescue Help in Indy.
Heck, I'm not that far from Indy I'll see who needs help.
GL Recovery Help in Indy would be a better title.
Once again I have to say the next time you drive through Dayton please drop off that crappy civilian tandem trailer at my house. I'll take it off your hands so you won't be embarrassed towing it around.

Oh yeah, nice crane.
I have the three piece canvas cover and I doubt it weighs 63 lbs. Cumbersome maybe, but not that heavy. I just moved the two end pieces Sat. night and they were pretty light.
Just because you don't have a truck doesn't mean you aren't a member or can't post anything. There are are other members who don't have trucks. Do you have an OD t-shirt?

Looks like she was rode hard and put up wet, then left to rust.
I'd start at less than scrap because there is a lot of work they would have to do in order to get scrap prices out of it. Tires, fuel tank and glass for starters have to be removed. Some places also give you less if it isn't in...
I wanted my wife to put two Folgers cans on both trucks one day while I was mowing. Since I had both trucks outside to clean the barn and she wasn't happy about that she was not going to put red coffee cans on the stacks. After I was done mowing I go over and look, she had taken the two cans...
Paul is correct, take the time and go to the museum. The museum is a left turn at the light outside the GL gate and down on the left less than two miles. It's also on the way to get back to any of the major highways anyway so you really have no excuse.
If you need help I live basically on the...
I had a lifter sticking or just making noise until I put Seafoam in the crankcase of my Dodge Hemi 5.7. I poured half a can in the tank and half into the oil. No noise now and the engine runs smooth again.
I put a bottle or two in both Deuces and my backhoe and New Holland diesel tractor.
And by meet and greet he means using their Suzuki POS as speed bumps and trash receptacles.
After last year I think flash photography by bozos on high-speed ATVs was banned.

The only one I've ever seen was The President's aircraft or at least the one painted up that way. Could have been him or the backup. It isn't like they keep me in the loop. It's something to be standing out back and see it in the pattern (straight in approach) though.

I forgot it was that weekend. I live about 6 miles from Hara Arena and I have never been to Hamvention. Which is funny since I got started working in TV/Radio and I have a First Class Radiotelephone License.
