Excellent idea. Now for a mod. Use a bigger can so you can put the rack down lower. Then you can close the lid and turn it into a smoker. You might be able to do it with that can, I just can't tell from just the pics. I can imagine one of those at Haspin smoking a pork tenderloin all day...

Jack stands are one thing but if you plan on getting under the truck I always use cribbing timbers along with the stands and I leave the jack under there as well. I'm in security so I'm paranoid by nature.

You might get away with it but I would never consider running anything but straight, nice and clean new diesel in a 250. Although guys run some mixes in their trucks I wouldn't.
