Is your oil contaminated with diesel fuel? Smell it.
Was your crank hub smooth or did it have a groove? You can renew the surface with a speedie sleeve.
Was your new seal, new or NOS?
Interesting, I think a few guys have posted that they used that filter setup on their CUCVs.
I'm sure you can get a diesel rated filter for it, later.
Sorry, I missed the fact it says it is not rated for diesel.
Are all 8 of your GPs good and your GP relay the correct relay and good?
And, do you still have the resistior wired in with 24 volts?

I'm impressed that Memphis can measure your gear lash via an email! Very impressed.
I've seen anything from just a gasket to 2 gaskets and a .125 shim needed.

Take a 12v battery, connect a resistor to a terminal. Use your volt meter and measure the battery voltage from the other terminal, to the resistor that is...
