My signature line contains a link on how to “restify”, (restore with modifications), PCB/EESS with schematics and explanations.
Undertake at your own risk.
Tang… You posted a link to a file on your personal computer that cannot be opened by anyone but you.
Tang8u Was trying to send you the file from Neihoff regarding alternator and regulator checks. Before before you go through that checklist, I would pull up every one of the rubber grommets and...
Hated my windows. Now I like them more.
I don’t have the proper stuff to melt and bend plexiglass so instead, Eric and I fabbed up 1/4” thick by three inch steel bars. We placed them parallel and welded at 14 degree angle. Then cut the plexiglass down to size and attached. Finally I then...
SW hit it on the head!
Chains on an engine is as old as Model T, and adding a crank balancer makes it even sexier.
I also say weld yer own and pay $50 re.: the tool displayed. 1/4 inch thick square tube outa do you right.
Wood is a tried and true substrate for custom work. Covering with fiberglass and then leather or pleather is a widely accepted customization technique.

I like the idea of removing the parasitic outer spider gears in favor of direct drive. Seems more practical than 3.07 front and rear gears based...
I will ship her 500 miles to LittleRock CA.
There I will work with my partner in crime (and the original “jobless loser”), Eric HummerH1.
This unit is destined to be a camper, relief vehicle, and I will purchase a several hundred gallon water container and Honda water pump to turn it into a...
I appreciate the offer but you won’t have time. I’d love to air up that dead tire. I’d like to know if she holds air. It’s will make getting her onto and off of a large trailer a bit less complicated.
Not sure what I might want pictures of, too ignorant to ask at this point in time.
I can make the plug with 1/8 inch steel and my plasma cutter or maybe I should just go sloppy with a square 4’x4’ steel panel of cold roll, like I did on my M1165. I have square 1/8 Aluminum sheet for several of my flying nun roof M1151 slantbacks.
