Removed hydraulic head from injector pump per TM, now I can't get it back in the housing. I aligned the red tooth on the plunger gear with the timing mark, and the gear seems to engage the one in the back of the housing slightly, but the damn thing won't go down all the way... there is a ~1/4"...

1967 Kaiser m35a2, aquired this summer. Started and ran fine 'til first cold snap. Temp dropped to 30 F, it wouldn't start, or even turn over. Temps warmed back into 80s a week later, started and ran fine. Next cool spell, same problems...
