Finally made time to put the crane on a duece. Got the bed off. Cut the mounts in the front, removed fuel tank and tire mount. Set the crane on the frame. Looks like it is going to need some serious bracing b4 use. Just thought I would share a pic. Still a lot of work to go!

Does anyone have a hitch for the mk17 rear units? Need to tow one from Lejune. I have a hitch but would have to weld on. If I can't find an original hitch is there anyone who could tow an mk17 off base to a staging point I could weld the hitch at?

Think about bidding on mk-17a1 Oskosh rear at Lejune. Has anyone ever towed one of these with a duece? What kind of brakes? Compatable with air on the Duece? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :D
