    Gen 2 troubles

    Hi. I'm sure this has come up before but I've searched and between here and my TMs I haven't found an answer. My Gen 2 light stays on at idle and goes out at speed. My batteries are new, belts are new, I've cleaned the grounds including the Gen 2 bulb socket, which actually made it worse...

    M1009 body modification

    I don't have a pic of it yet, but my 1985 M1009 has a modification that was done by the Army. There are two notches that were done to the rear of the pass side quarter panel. One is at the top while the other is at the bottom. Looks professional but I was wondering why the Army did this? It...

    Gen 2 alternator replacement question

    Hi, I'm installing a new alternator in the gen 2 position and I noticed that my truck does not have the black wire with push plug for the small stud. What was this wire for and where does it go? Any help would be appreciated. It's a 1985 M1009 army that transferred to the navy in the 90s.
